SD-1008 Silent Call Wireless Smoke Detector

This Wireless unit detects smoke, then transmits a signal within a 100 foot radius to a receiver that uses a vibrator (5001-RV) or strobe light (5001-RS) to warn you (See below to order one of these Receivers). It is a portable smoke detector that attaches to a wall or ceiling and sends a signal to the receiver. You may place as many of these smoke detectors as necessary around the house.The Silent CallŪ smoke detector operates on (2) internal user-replaceable 9V batteries.

Please note that these transmitters and receivers are un-supervised auxiliary devices to alert a deaf or deaf-blind person to a fire. Please check with your local fire marshall for specific requirements for your area.

The receiver(s) shown below, can be placed on a nightstand or attached to a wall and plugs into a standart outlet. This in turn activates the strobe or vibrator to alert you.
