Product Description

Replacement desiccant "pillow" for Dry Spot Dehumidifier.

DESSICANT PILLOW DIRECTIONS:

The desiccant “pillow” contains moisture absorbing ‘beads’ and fits into the OT-DRYSPOT container, screen side up.

  • Before retiring for the night, clean your hearing aid (and ear molds, if you have them) with Audiowipes™ disinfectant wipes.
  • Open battery doors
  • Places the hearing aid on the screen side of the desiccant (this allows the moisture to be pulled out of the hearing aid without having it actually ‘touch’ the desiccant material).
  • Replace the lid and close tightly.

    REACTIVATION OF “PILLOW”

    MICROWAVE:

    When all the desiccant beads are green, it is time to reactivate. To do this, place desiccant, screen side up, in a microwave and heat for 1 minute on high. COOL FOR 20 MINUTES. Most beads will have a yellowish tint which means it is ready to use.

    CONVENTIONAL OVEN:
    In a conventional oven, remove desiccant from jar and bake, screen side up, for 1 hour at 200°F (93°C), or until beads are yellow. Allow desiccant to cool before handling.

    DO NOT Place Hearing Aid in Microwave or Oven!
