Comply NR-1 Noise Reduction Earphones

These Comply™ Noise Reduction Earphones effectively block unwanted noise at an average 18dB so you can hear the sound you want! The memory foam eartips are three times softer than skin, conforming to your ear canal for the ultimate in comfort, even when active. Use them with personal amplifiers, iPods and other media players (not included).

Lightweight and comfortable to wear, the earphones combine state-of-the-art electronics and miniaturization with the convenience of replaceable ear canal tips. It is based on the same patented technology that is currently used in the United States Army. It can be used with any audio device that has a 3.5mm plug.

Why is it so good?

Using Insert-Passive Noise Reduction technology, the earphones achieve an average noise reduction of 18dB while boosting desired signals - 5 to 10dB at higher frequencies, giving you superior hearing in noise. Foam tips that conform to your ear canal keep the earphone in your ear without worrying about it falling out, even when active.

How does it work?

Since the earphones are placed in the ear canal, not over the ear, the signal-to-noise ratio is dramatically increased. Desired sound increases since it is sent into the remaining smaller space of the partially filled ear canal. Outside noise is reduced because the Comply Platinum Canal Tip, the most effective sound attenuator, efficiently filters out noise.

About the canal tip foam

Three times softer than skin, the canal tip memory foam conforms to your ear canal for superior comfort, even when active. After squeezing, the foam expands very slowly at room temperature. However, once inserted into the ear canal, body temperature makes it expand quickly and become very soft. The expanded, yet soft tips make an excellent seal in your ear canal even when you are talking, eating or laughing. The foam tips have a threaded core that are screwed onto the earphone, allowing for complete removal of the earphone and tips from the ear canal.

One pair of NR-1 earphones included, along with 1 pair of standard size Comply Platinum foam canal tips, 1 pair of slim-sized Comply Platinum foam canal tips, carrying pouch and instructions. Additional refill canal tips are available separately. 30-day manufacturer warranty.
